K. Michelle was forgettable and a let down
I didn't anticipate a great show with many hits, particularly from her 3rd album, and we were let down. Jim Messina, almost in flat boots with knee pads, seemed ready to dance the night away, but that didn't happen. The biggest hit "Not a little Bit" wasn't sung, and during "all I got," she let some non-singing guy from the audience ruin the song. Despite the short, lackluster performance, I still adore her. I hope she is expecting the twins she longs for, perhaps explaining her surreal demeanor.
Amazing
Incredible isn't enough to express about this show. The band was amazing especially the keyboardist, he was just unbelievable. From the first second to the last they left no stone unturned and kicked ass. The energy level for this show was off the charts, they just kept coming with great song after another no letting up. When Carlos starting speaking of Love and Happiness, it was a great moment, I truly believe everyone there was going to hug. All I could do the entire time is say WOW over and over, they blew us away. By far the best concert of the year.

This was a great show, from the debut of "Summer of '89" to the incredible Tweezer double reprise, I can't get enough! They just seemed to be "into it" and each song was beautifully played. I have been going to Jim Messina shows for over 15 years, and Dead shows 10 years before that. This was a first class one.
Despite a good Friday night turnout, there was plenty of room for dancing at the venue, which is generic but serviceable. The sound was very good, even on the lawn. The Hartford Police did a great job outside the venue keeping things orderly, with lots of vending going on and no hassles.
After the encore, Trey launched into a description of something to do with Hershey Park, so they went right back into Reprise.
